Anti-Chinese Hostility rises during the COVID-19 Crisis. How Inclusive Leadership Can Respond.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads around the world, so too do instances of racism and hostility toward people of Chinese decent. This is based on a false belief—since the first reported cases of the illness were reported in China—that people of Chinese origin are more likely to be infected with the virus. Furthermore, the origins of the pandemic may also simply be fanning the flames of those who already had racist leanings.
